ABOUT DR. NELSON

Stacey Nelson, Ph.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in the neuropsychology of attention and learning disorders. She received her Ph.D. in 1997 from the California School of Professional Psychology. Practicing since 1999, Dr. Nelson performed her clinical training at the Veteran's Administration Medical Center in Sepulveda, CA, and at Kaiser Permanente in Martinez, CA. She has been performing psychological, psychoeducational and neuropsychological testing in her private practice since 2001. Dr. Nelson has provided assessments for a number of private and public schools in the San Francisco Bay Area, and has provided services for post-secondary students at UC San Francisco (UCSF) School of Medicine, San Francisco State University, and the University of San Francisco, including USF Law School. Dr. Nelson is familiar with the requirements of a variety of testing boards, including the College Board for SAT, ACT, LSAT, and GMAT. She is a member of the American Psychological Association, including Division 40 (Neuropsychology), National Academy of Neuropsychology, and National Register of Heathcare Professionals. She also provides clinical services at Kaiser Permanente, Department of Psychiatry in San Rafael, where she serves as a Co-Director of training and provides supervision to post-doctoral psychology residents.

Dr. Nelson practices in Marin County, California, and sees clients throughout the Greater San Francisco Bay Area, Sonoma and Napa Counties.
